Day 77: Perspective

by Darcy on January 16, 2010

So much for the empathy speak workshop. I woke up feeling sick(er), so Andy went alone. He was able to record a bunch of it, so I can listen later. He’s glad he went. The possibility of a weekly practice group looks good. Cool.

I spent my day puttering in the sewing room and talking on the phone with friends. Since then I’ve found out that one of those friend’s 19-year-old nephew is in the ICU after what they suspect is a hit-and-run. If you’ve got any spare prayers, please direct them to Devin. Thanks.

And with that perspective, telling you about how I got out the pattern for making boxer shorts and traced it and how I’m cutting up felted thrift store sweaters to make a blanket just seems too incredibly trivial. So I’ll end here. Don’t forget to send those good vibes to Devin. You’ve got extra, right?
