Wow, I almost forgot to post today. That’s a first for this month. Kind of a nice change from the what-should-I-write angst to be enjoying the day so much that posting nearly slipped my mind.
An outline of the fun: Just over 3 miles on the elliptical machine this morning, followed by a dance-around-the-house cool down and breakfast that included homemade applesauce. A little online research re: hula hoops (because that sounds like fun exercise) turned up instructions for making my own, which means I can have it today instead of waiting. I’m a big fan of striking while the iron’s hot, so sweet.
I went to a spinners guild meeting (secret knitting project in the home stretch) and on the way home stopped at Lowe’s for the hoop supplies, and don’t you know I just had to pass a fabric store on the way. So I got some remnants, including a funky floral knit for some boxer shorts for me and lining fabric for a skirt that’s been this close to done since the summer.
And now I’m playing more on Lala sifting through all these great dance-around song recommendations I’ve gotten from friends this week, and Andy’s making me a hula hoop, and he just got done, and it totally rocks! See ya, kiddos, I’m going start hula hooping right now! Happy Friday night!
